Matthew Gladbach, CFP® started Your RIA in January 2026 as Chief Investment Officer after 25 years working for large financial firms throughout the country.  

In his previous roles, Matt assisted in opening new branch offices and was responsible for actively growing relationships with clients in all 50 states.  

Matthew graduated from the University of Missouri in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Finance. 

After graduation, he immediately started his career in the financial services industry with ever-increasing roles at American Express Financial Advisors, Merrill Lynch, and Scottrade (eventually purchased by TD Ameritrade and then Charles Schwab).  

As a national investment consultant, Matt managed offices at over 200 branches across 40 states. Matt was responsible for managing numerous branches with over $1 billion in assets under management and tens of thousands of accounts. 

 During this time, Matt earned his MBA with an emphasis in finance in 2007 from Webster University in St. Louis. 

In February 2005, Matthew successfully completed the CFP Board requirements and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.  

Beyond the Office 

Matt loves spending time with his family, attending any sporting events, and going on adventure-seeking travel.  

Some interesting facts about Matt are that he has completed a marathon, was a contestant on Wheel of Fortune, and has been to 5 of the 7 continents as well as all 50 states!  As a huge sports fan, he has attended a Game 7 of the St. Louis Cardinals World Series, an NBA final game, The Kentucky Derby and the Masters.

From an entrepreneurial family, owning his own financial brand is a realization of the American Dream for Matt.  With a servant’s heart and a passion for the markets and financial planning, Matt looks forward to working with you at Your RIA.
